Job overview
As a Community Manager, you will be responsible for managing and growing client community across various platforms, including social media, online forums, and events. You will act as the bridge between the company and its audience, ensuring a positive and engaging experience for members while also gathering insights to help shape our offerings.
Key responsibilities
Community engagement & growth
- Develop and execute community-building strategies to foster engagement and member growth.
- Manage and moderate discussions across online platforms (social media, forums, Discord, Slack, etc.).
- Respond to comments, questions, and feedback in a timely and professional manner.
- Identify and engage with community influencers, brand advocates, and ambassadors
Content & communication
- Create and curate engaging content tailored for the community, including blog posts, jobs, newsletters, and discussion topics.
- Organize and host virtual and in-person events such as webinars, AMAs (Ask Me Anything), and community meetups.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to align community initiatives with company goals.
Analytics & reporting
- Monitor community engagement metrics and provide regular reports on insights, trends, and growth opportunities.
- Gather feedback from the community to inform product development, customer support, and marketing strategies.
Crisis management & support
- Handle community issues with professionalism, ensuring a positive environment for all members.
- Implement community guidelines and moderation policies.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Community Manager or similar role.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong understanding of social media management and online community engagement.
- Ability to analyze engagement metrics and adjust strategies accordingly.
- Experience with community management tools (e.g., VirtualPro, Facebook Pages/Groups, Twitter, and Instagram).
- Passion for specific industries and a deep understanding of community dynamics.
Preferred qualifications
- Ability to create quality reels and stories (Big Plus).
- Experience in a specific industry.
- Knowledge of SEO and digital marketing strategies.
- Basic graphic design or video editing skills for content creation.
